Amber
Advanced Veterinary Technician
Amber had been a part of another clinic for many years, originally starting as a kennel tech when she was in high school, before starting at Ox Bottom Animal Hospital. Amber has a cat named Katty, a cat named Eliza, and a Dachshund mix named Ruby. Her hobbies include trying out new local restaurants, riding her bicycle around town, and going to the beach.
Katie
Veterinary Technician
Katie joined the Ox Bottom team in 2020 after she graduated from Florida State University with her Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences. In the past, she volunteered at nature World Wildlife Rescue in Homosassa, FL. She lives with her kitty named Zora and in her free time she likes watching true crime documentaries and exploring new nature trails in Tallahassee. A fun fact about Katie is that she grew up with 9 cats!
Tammy
Reception Manager
Mrs. Tammy joined the Ox Bottom team in 2020 as a receptionist and rocks it! She graduated with her Associate’s in Computer Tech in 1989 from Marshall University. She currently lives with her husband, Jim, and her golden retriever, Buster! In her free time, she likes going to the beach and spending time with her three sons, Colton, Bryce, and Garrett. A fun fact about Tammy is that she gets to work at Ox Bottom with her daughter-in-law, Kaylin!
Madison
Veterinary Technician
Madison joined the Ox Bottom team in 2020 and started as a kennel technician. She graduated with her high school diploma from North Florida Christian School in 2020. She currently lives with her English cocker named Chief, her dachshund, Marley, and Chihuahua, Macy. Her hobbies include fishing, traveling, shopping, playing basketball, and going to the beach! A fun fact about Madison is that she played All Star basketball her Junior year of high school when she lived in Georgia.
Heather
Kennel Technician/Tech Assistant
Heather joined the Ox Bottom Team in 2021 and graduated from the American Intercontinental University in 2010 with her Associate’s in Business Administration. She currently lives with her husband, Stephen, her two daughters and son, and her three cats. In Heather’s free time, she enjoys rescuing stray animals, gardening, and spending time with her family. This is her very first job with animals and she is loving working with them and helping them!
Kendra
Veterinary Technician
Kendra joined the Ox Bottom Team in 2019 as a kennel technician and graduated from Central High School in 2018. She previously interned at an animal clinic and volunteered at the humane society throughout high school. She currently lives with her two dogs, Hazel and Ruby-Doo, and her kitty, Ella. In her free time, she enjoys drawing and painting. A fun fact about Kendra is that she was born and raised in South Dakota!
Halley
Veterinary Technician/Kennel Manager
Halley joined the Ox Bottom team in 2018 when we first opened but has been working in the veterinary field much longer than that. She has 10+ years’ experience in animal medicine, working at three other clinics previously and attended Animal Behavior college to become a certified dog trainer in 2011. She currently lives with her fiancé, Seth, her three dogs (Lolly, Lady and Muppet), and her two cats (Gypsy and Hemi). Her hobbies include off roading and rock crawling in her Jeep, traveling, photography, and hiking. A fun fact about Halley is that she lived in Alaska for 12 years and has traveled solo around the country in her Jeep for 4 months.
