Frequently Asked Questions

What if my pet has an after-hours problem?

Pets don’t always have their emergencies during regular office hours. Emergencies are things such as poisoning, getting hit by a car, or ingestion of chocolate. If your pet needs emergency medical attention after hours, you can contact:

Allied Veterinary Emergency Hospital

2324 Centerville Rd.

Tallahassee, FL 32308

Phone: (850) 222-0123

Why does my pet need a dental procedure?

Proper veterinary dental care will not only keep your pets comfortable, but can extend their life expectancy as well. Studies indicate that without proper care, approximately eighty percent of pets have some form of periodontal issues by three years of age. Our veterinarians at Ox Bottom Animal Clinic will provide the dental care your pet needs, regardless of the current age or condition of the teeth. Instructions will be provided on how you can care for their teeth at home as well.

What financing options do you offer, or is payment expected at the time of service?

We offer Care Credit options if a payment plan is needed, although payment, including Care Credit charges, is due at the end of the office visit.
